Welcome to the API documentation for OriginalPoems.com. Our API is currently in development, but we are excited to share that it will soon be available for use. This page will provide all the information you need to get started once the API is live.
The OriginalPoems.com API will allow developers to access and interact with our database of poems, lesson plans, and more. The API will be RESTful, providing data in JSON format for easy integration into your applications.
Once available, the API will include the following endpoints:
/api/v1/poems
- Retrieve a list of poems./api/v1/poems/{id}
- Retrieve a specific poem by its ID./api/v1/lesson-plans
- Access a list of lesson plans./api/v1/lesson-plans/{id}
- Retrieve a specific lesson plan by its ID./api/v1/search
- Perform a search across poems and lesson plans.When the API is available, you will need to sign up for an API key to start making requests. Detailed instructions on how to obtain and use your API key will be provided here.
Full documentation, including code examples and detailed descriptions of each endpoint, will be available here once the API is live. Stay tuned for updates!
To ensure fair usage, the API will have rate limits. Details on the rate limits and how to manage them will be provided in the documentation.
