The Golden Light

By George MacDonald

The golden light is shining, Bright as the morning sun. It fills the heart with warmth and joy, And the day has just begun. The golden light is glowing, With a radiance that never fades. It brings life to the coldest heart, And brightens the darkest shades. The golden light is burning, With a fire that cannot die. It fills the soul with hope and peace, And lifts the spirit high. The golden light is shining, For all the world to see. It guides us on our journey, To the place where we will be.
